The Mission Hills Town Council hosts the 4th of July parade and concert in the park during the day on the 4th of July. It is very well attended and is the MHTC’s signature annual community event. At night, residents head to the various neighborhood vista points to watch the fireworks light up the bay.

Parade
Decorate yourself, bikes, wagons, animals, etc., in patriotic colors and outfits and parade through Mission Hills. After returning to Pioneer Park, prizes are given for: Best Costume and Best Bike/Wagon decor.
The party continues with games and live music throughout the afternoon as families picnic in the grass.
Parade Guidelines
- Please no offensive outfits or decoration. Remember this is a family event!
- If decorations fall off your “float” please return to pick them up. Keeping the neighborhood clean is a top priority!
- Walk slowly and be aware of your surroundings.
- NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED!
Concert
Part of our Summer Concert Series, the 4th of July Concert provides quality entertainment for you and your family to enjoy. Bring your picnic lunch and relax on the grass at Pioneer Park.
