Palm Tree Trimming Request
The Town Council has created a way to help Mission Hills property owners with the trimming of their Palm trees, primarily those in the street right of way.
Why?
Palms should be trimmed every 18 to 24 months. This help avoids the droppings and danger of falling fronds. As you may know the City of San Diego no longer does regular Palm Tree trimming and the MHTC has organized this effort to help property owners fill this void. These trees date back nearly 100 years and are an important part of our community.
What will it Cost?
The Town Council has negotiated a price $55 per King or Queen palm accessible from the street. A savings of $20 vs other advertised rates.
Who does the work?
ATLAS Environmental Services will perform the actual trimming work. They are fully licensed and insured and have agreed to do a palm (king or queen) for the price of $55 each. You can review their website at: www.atlastree.com

How to I sign up?
The program allows you to fill out a form on this website to use this service. After you provide the basic information and determine how many palms that will be trimmed, you make payment via the MHTC paypal account. Once that information has been provided MHTC will provide Atlas with the information. The palms will be trimmed within in 30 days, and maybe in a shorter time if there is a combined request for 25 or more palms from additional property owners. Atlas will notify each property a few days before by posting notices of “no parking” near where the trees are to be trimmed. THE TREES MUST BE IN MISSION HILLS (NORTH OR SOUTH) TO BE PART OF THIS PROGRAM.
